Dr. Zaky embarked on her dental career by earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Ain Shams Dental School in 2007. Subsequently, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Detroit Mercy Dental School in 2012. These educational milestones form the solid foundation of her career in dentistry.

Throughout her career, Dr. Zaky has achieved recognition as a Kois Graduate, symbolizing her unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in dental care. She is also a valued member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Academy of Cosmetic Arts (AACA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). These memberships underscore her dedication to remaining at the forefront of dental advancements.

In 2012, Dr. Zaky officially entered the field of dentistry. Since then, she has dedicated herself to providing exceptional dental care, with a focus on enhancing her patients’ overall quality of life.

Dr. Jake Son

Dr. Jake Son attended University of Michigan for four years and majored in anthropology. He continued his education for one year in Master of Biology at Oakland University in Michigan. Following year, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for four years, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Dr. Jake Son’s mission is to provide comprehensive dental care, improve oral health of patients, and further increase awareness of oral health care in individuals and community.

He continuously seeks professional development opportunities to remain aware of latest dental technologies and to be proficient in aspects of dentistry such as implant dentistry, endodontics, and Invisalign treatment. This dedication is to offer efficient, modern, and minimally invasive solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

On his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf with his family.

Tiffany, Registered Dental Hygienist

Tiffany blends clinical precision with a heartfelt commitment to patient care, making every visit both effective and encouraging. Since entering the field in 2008 with a degree in Applied Science and a concentration in Dental Hygiene from Baker College, she has remained focused on helping people take control of their oral health. Her approachable nature and deep understanding of hygiene have made her a trusted guide for patients at every stage of their dental journey.

She takes pride in customizing each appointment to meet the unique needs of every patient, offering thorough care while delivering practical home-care instruction. Patients appreciate her empathy and attentiveness, knowing she genuinely listens and works with them to achieve lasting results. Her goal isn’t just clean teeth—it’s empowering people with the knowledge and confidence to care for their smiles every day.

Outside of the office, Tiffany stays active and adventurous. She enjoys trail riding in her RZR, shooting sporting clays, raising chickens, hunting for antiques, and tending to her garden. Whether outdoors or at home, she finds joy in hands-on, rewarding experiences that mirror the care she brings to her work.

Tina, Registered Dental Hygienist

Tina brings warmth, experience, and a thoughtful approach to every patient interaction. She holds an associate’s degree in applied science with a focus in dental hygiene. Since entering the dental field in 1997, she has built a reputation for delivering gentle, thorough care with a focus on helping patients achieve their healthiest smiles. Over her career, she has developed a strong ability to connect with patients while guiding them toward their oral health goals.

She loves being part of a hardworking, upbeat team and appreciates the supportive environment at AZ Dental. Patients often describe Tina as easygoing and approachable, and she takes pride in making every visit as comfortable and positive as possible. Outside of the office, she enjoys coffee on the porch, beach vacations, and creating handmade jewelry.

Kaity, Registered Dental Assistant

Kaity brings energy and compassion to every patient interaction. Since starting her career in 2015, she’s focused on delivering attentive care and making each visit feel comfortable and positive. Her background as a Registered Dental Assistant from Washtenaw Community College gave her a strong foundation, but it’s her personable and upbeat approach that truly stands out.

Patients often describe Kaity as caring, approachable, and easy to talk to—someone who makes dental visits less stressful and more encouraging. She values the strong team dynamic at AZ Dental and takes pride in the welcoming, supportive environment they create together.

Outside of work, Kaity enjoys an active lifestyle centered around health and fitness. She loves spending time outdoors, especially in the summer, and finds joy in beach days with her dog and two cats never far from home.

Maria, Registered Dental Assistant

Maria’s passion for helping others shines through in her dedication to improving clients’ confidence and overall dental health. With a background in dentistry from Cuba and as a registered dental assistant in the U.S. since 2016, she connects deeply with those she serves, ensuring they receive the highest level of care. Maria thrives on making people feel comfortable and proud of their smiles, which she finds to be the most fulfilling part of her role.

Known for her friendly, approachable demeanor, Maria creates a welcoming environment for everyone she works with. Her bilingual skills in Spanish and English allow her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients, ensuring they feel understood and cared for.
